Getting the book onto the thing you read on
You get an EPUB and a PDF. Here’s what to do with them, by device.
Which file?
EPUB for almost everyone. The text reflows, so you can set your own size and typeface. Every e-reader and reading app made in the last decade opens it.
PDF if you want the pages fixed as designed, or you’re printing. It does not reflow, so it reads poorly on a small screen.

Why there's no DRM
DRM ties a file to a shop’s account. When the shop closes or changes its rules, the book stops opening — and this has happened repeatedly, to a lot of people, with no refunds.
It also doesn’t stop piracy. Every DRM scheme in publishing has been broken, usually within weeks, and the only people meaningfully inconvenienced are the ones who paid.
So instead, your name and order number are printed on the title page of your copy. It’s a mild reminder that the file has your name on it, and it costs you nothing.
Sharing
Lend your copy to somebody the way you’d lend a paperback and we won’t come after you. Upload it to a piracy site and you’ve taken money from a writer who needs it, and we will ask for it to be taken down. We trust you to know the difference.
If the download fails
Your links never expire and allow five downloads per file. Lost the email? Enter the address you bought with on the re-send page and it comes straight back.
Still stuck, or the file won’t open? Email help@lunewickbooks.co.uk and tell us the device. Same day, weekdays. A file that won’t open is our problem, not yours.
Refunds
At checkout you confirm you want the files immediately, which ends the 14-day cancellation right — that’s why we can’t refund a change of mind once a file is downloaded. Read the first chapter first; it’s there for exactly this reason.
If a file is corrupt, incomplete, or not the book described, we refund in full and don’t ask you to prove anything.
